Matura Farrington Staffing Services has an opening for a recent graduate with light clerical/administrative experience looking to advance their skills in the accounting field. This opportunity is great for those looking to get their foot in the door and bridge into an accounting position within the firm! Successful candidates will have a can-do attitude, possess great professionalism and exceptional communication skills. This is a long-term temporary position with potential to hire for the right fit. Location: Mid-Wilshire Los Angeles, CA.
- Answering/screening phone calls
- Creating, monitoring and submitting detailed reports for the local branch office use including the generation of invoices.
- Clerical duties such as scanning, filing, faxing, etc.
- Maintaining the office calendar
- Learn/take on accounting tasks at the discretion of upper managers.
- *6+ months of experience in a clerical/administrative position within the professional services/corporate environment
- *Bachelor’s Degree is required
- *Must have a professional demeanor and the ability to communicate effectively over the phone
- *Strong technical skills required (will be tested in Microsoft Office Suite)
- *Must have a strong desire to pursue opportunities in accounting
- Prior accounting course work/experience is a plus!

Hourly rate is $12-13/hr
