Attorney Recruiting and Training Coordinator

Matura Farrington Staffing Services, Inc. is seeking candidates for a large international law firm in need of an Attorney Recruiting and Training Coordinator for their Palo Alto, CA office. All candidates for the Attorney Recruiting and Training Coordinator must have a professional demeanor, a minimum of 2 years recruiting experience, ideally in a legal or professional services environment and a degree in a related field. The primary responsibilities for the Attorney Recruiting/Training Coordinator position include, coordinating the summer associate program, handling associate and attorney candidate schedules; and assisting with training for attorneys. Recruiting Duties-

  • Handle background checks, transcript requests, pre-hire paperwork
  • Plan and execute recruiting events
  • Maintain summer associate assignment database
  • Assist with interview scheduling and callbacks
  • Enter interview schedules into virecruit
  • Generate candidate offer letters, rejection letters, fellowship letters, etc.
  • Process candidate expense reimbursements
  • Other recruiting duties as requested

Training and Development Duties-

  • Prepare for all training programs
  • Assist with scheduling and preparation of seasonal training
  • Update CEManager and Bar Database as new attorneys start
  • Register lateral and transfer associates for BarBri bar review course
  • Complete Attorney Summary Sheets for all attorneys hired in PA and SF
  • Create and schedule new attorney orientation for new attorneys
  • Schedule and facilitate local KICP training programs


Qualified candidates must possess the following:

  • * Bachelor’s Degree required
    *Minimum of 2 years of experience in Attorney Recruiting
    *Excellent communication and organizational skills
    Ability to multi task and prioritize in order to meet tight deadlines
    * Must be able to work overtime, especially during peak recruiting seasons

    *Represents basic qualifications for this Attorney Recruiting Coordinator position. To be considered for this position you must at least meet the basic qualifications.
