Litigation Legal Secretary / Assistant / Entertainment Litigation

International law firm is looking for a Litigation Legal Secretary / Assistant to work in their Los Angeles branch office. This position is focusing on entertainment / new media and other forms of civil litigation for a very prominent Partner, and the firm is looking for a strong assistant to join the team. The ideal Litigation Legal Secretary / Assistant candidate will have a 5-10+ years’ experience with civil litigation, exceptional communication skills, and strong technical skills in a mid-large law firm environment. Responsibilities:
·          Editing and finalizing litigation documents
·          Filing documents with State and Federal courts (including e-filing)
·          General administrative duties, such as answering phones, calendaring, expense reports, timekeeping, and managing the attorneys’ schedules
 
Qualifications:
*Must be an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary / Assistant with knowledge of the litigation process, at least 3-5+ years of experience in a law firm
*Must have knowledge/experience with court filings, drafting pleadings, calendaring, and other legal administrative support
Must have exceptional phone presence and communication skills
Possess a strong attention to detail, and high level of organization
Ideal candidates will have strong software skills

Hours: 9-5:30
