Well established law firm seeks CFO to lead accounting team and streamline accounting function. Firm has tripled in size over the last several years and is poised for future growth. The Chief Financial Officer will report to the Firm’s Managing Partner, and work closely with other firm leadership. This position requires strategic and operational experience to ensure that the right financial systems and processes are in place to support ongoing decision-making throughout the firm.
Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to; planning and executing financial strategy, preparing budgets, maintaining financial reports, analysis of financial statements, cash flow analysis, risk analysis, coordination of tax documents in conjunction with outside CPA firm and ensuring overall compliance and efficiency.
Bachelor’s Degree required, CPA or MBA preferred.
At least 5 years’ experience in a senior financial managerial position in a law firm
Advanced knowledge of accounting software integrations strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, financial management software and expense management software required
