Human Resources Coordinator

Premier National firm seeks Human Resources Coordinator to support growing San Francisco Office. Local office has doubled in size in the last several years and the firm is building the local team. HR Coordinator will handle a wide array of functions including but not limited to talent acquisition, HRIS data maintenance, support of summer associate recruiting efforts and day to day employee relations. Summary of responsibilities:

          Assists in coordinating the recruitment process for staff and attorneys

          Develops position descriptions and postings

          Utilizes effective recruiting sources by working with recruitment firms, placing advertisements, networking and following up on internal referrals

          Pre-screens applicants, administers skills testing, conducts initial interviews and refers candidates to hiring managers based on qualifications, gathers feedback from interviews

          Maintains applicant tracking database

          Communicates with applicants regarding the status of their applications

          Arranges for temporary help, when needed by departments

          Conducts reference checks on all new hires

          Plans on-campus interview schedules, provides information to participating law schools, selects resumes for interview schedules, prepares attorneys for on-campus interviews.

          Responsible for orientation and on-boarding of the summer associates by making arrangements with various Firm personnel to ensure office space, timekeeper and personal number, secretarial assignments, and telephone numbers are assigned

          Produces a weekly monitor report and keeps track of all summer program assignments, finished work products, and evaluations on each summer associate

          Plans and schedules all summer associate events, including welcoming gatherings and social events throughout the program

          Assists Professional Development Manager with coordinating the CLE and training programs in the SF office

QUALIFICATIONS:

          Bachelor’s degree

          Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR department with progressive responsibilities

          Strong recruitment experience to include attorney recruitment

          Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
