Legal Secretary – Bankruptcy

Downtown law firm firm is seeking a Legal Secretary with 5+ years of bankruptcy (creditor rights) and litigation experience to support 3 very busy attorneys. Ideal candidate must have strong knowledge with Chapters 11 and 7. This is a great opportunity to work for a nice and stable practice group while sharpening your bankruptcy skills. REQUIREMENTS:

  • *Litigation/bankruptcy secretary must have experience in preparing and revising a high volume of Federal pleadings (including appellate briefs), coordinating serving and filing of documents, and listing all items on calendar.
  • * Must have strong knowledge of bankruptcy dealing with creditor rights as well as chapter 11 and 7.
  • Legal secretary must have experience in booking travel arrangements to accommodate complex itineraries, reconciling credit card statements with receipts, preparing and submitting expense reports for reimbursement.
  • *Word processing skills are required, TOA’s and TOC’s, revising legal documents
  • *Bankruptcy/Litigation legal secretary must have strong technical skills and versed in various software and database programs, such as Microsoft Word 2010, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint,
