Litigation Legal Secretary / Assistant – High-Profile Law Firm

Mid-sized, high-profile law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join their Century City office. The ideal candidate will have substantial litigation experience, be experienced with high-profile client contact, calendaring, and various legal administrative duties. Knowledge of entertainment, white collar, media, and/or IP litigation is a plus, but not required. Responsibilities:

• Editing and finalizing litigation documents
• Calendaring
court dates/deadlines
• Filing with State and Federal courts (including e-filing)
• General administrative duties, such as answering phones, expense reports, timekeeping, and managing the attorney’s schedules

Qualifications:
*Must have at least 3-5+ years of litigation experience from an established law firm
*Must have knowledge of court filing requirements, including experience with e-filing in state/federal courts
*Must have exceptional communication skills to communicate with attorneys, staff, and high profile clients

*Strong software skills and knowledge, (MS Office Suite), legal software, etc.

*Represents basic qualifications for this Litigation Legal Secretary/Assistant position. To be considered for this position you must at least meet the basic qualifications.
